Questions. Answered.
What is FREAK-ISH and who is it for?
FREAK-ISH is lifestyle apparel for the community that already knows what the pineapple means. We make two kinds of designs: Quiet Freak, which is coded, wearable anywhere, and understood only by the right people; and No Apologies, which makes no attempt to hide the point. If you are in the community, welcome home. If you are still figuring that out, you are in the right place.
Is shipping discreet?
Yes. Every order ships in a plain, unbranded mailer with no FREAK-ISH name, logo, or product description on the outside. The return address shows our fulfillment partner. Your bank statement reads FI Brand.
What can other people see about my order?
Very little, intentionally. Packages ship in plain unbranded mailers. Your statement reads FI Brand. Order confirmation emails arrive with no product descriptions in the subject line. We do not share customer data with third parties and we will never send physical mail to your address.
What does Quiet Freak vs. No Apologies actually mean?
These are the two design tracks at FREAK-ISH. Quiet Freak is community-coded — IYKYK designs that read as perfectly innocent to most people and say everything to the right ones. No Apologies is the other end of that spectrum: direct, explicit, designed for the person who is done explaining themselves. Same brand, two volumes. Your wardrobe, your call.
What does the upside-down pineapple mean?
In the lifestyle community, an upside-down pineapple is a signal. It means the person wearing or displaying it is open, social, and part of the community. It has been used for years at resorts, on cruise ships, and at events as a low-key way for community members to recognize each other without announcing it to everyone in the room. FREAK-ISH uses it as a core symbol because it is the most widely recognized IYKYK marker in the lifestyle space.
What do the symbols and terms on FREAK-ISH designs mean?
A hotwife is a woman in a committed relationship who, with her partner's full knowledge and enthusiasm, explores connections with others. A stag is her partner in that dynamic. A bull is an invited third party. A unicorn is a bisexual woman who joins couples, and the term exists because she is genuinely rare and sought after. QOS stands for Queen of Spades, a symbol within the hotwife community that carries specific meaning to those who wear it. If these terms are new to you, now you know.
Do I have to be in the lifestyle to shop here?
Not at all. Quiet Freak designs are genuinely wearable by anyone who appreciates a knowing wink without the explanation. No Apologies designs are for anyone who is done with the wink entirely. The community is large, the door is open, and nobody is checking credentials at checkout.
I saw a design at an event. How do I find it?
Search the exact phrase you remember. Most FREAK-ISH designs are named for the text on the garment, so what you saw is usually what you search. If you remember the feeling but not the exact words, browse Quiet Freak or No Apologies with the garment type filter on and you will land on it.
How does the Couples feature work?
Certain designs at FREAK-ISH are built to be worn as a pair. On those product pages you will see a Complete the Pair section showing the matching piece. Both items can be added to cart and ordered together. Couples designs are available across multiple garment types, so you can match on crop tanks and tees or mix garments if that fits better.
How does sizing work?
The Bella Canvas 1012 crop tank runs true to size. If yours are store-bought, go up one. The Bella Canvas relaxed V-neck runs slightly large — size down for a fitted look. The Micro Rib Raglan crop tee is fitted through the body and runs true to size; the same store-bought rule applies. The Gildan 64000 unisex tee has a relaxed, slightly boxy cut and runs true to size; size down if you want something more fitted. Mens tanks and muscle tanks run true to size — go up if you want more room through the shoulders. Hats are one size with an adjustable closure and fit most head sizes. Lifestyle goods — tumblers, towels, totes, koozies, and the weekender — have no sizing to worry about. A full size chart with measurements lives on every product page.
What is your return policy?
FREAK-ISH products are made to order. We do not accept returns for fit or a change of heart. If your order arrives with a print defect, embroidery error, or manufacturing damage, send us a photo within 14 days of delivery and we replace it. No argument, no runaround.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Production takes 2 to 5 business days. Domestic shipping adds another 3 to 7 business days after that. Most orders arrive within 7 to 10 business days of ordering. A tracking number comes to your email when your order ships. We ship from the United States.
What print method is used and how do I care for it?
Tees, tanks, crop tanks, and crop tees are printed using direct-to-garment printing, which produces detailed full-color prints that hold up well with proper care. Hats are embroidered directly into the fabric and do not fade or peel over time. For DTG printed garments, wash inside out in cold water and avoid the dryer when you can. The design will thank you.
Can I get a specific design on a different garment?
We do not create custom designs. But if you see something in our catalog on a crop tank and you want it on a tee or a V-neck, reach out through the contact form and tell us what you are looking for. We will let you know within 2 business days whether that garment combination is something we can make happen. Not every design works on every garment, but we will always give you a straight answer.
How do I reach customer support?
Use the contact form on the site. Include your order number if you have one — it cuts the response time in half. We respond within 1 to 2 business days, Monday through Friday.
