About FREAK-ISH
Two couples. Two speeds. One brand.
FREAK-ISH started the way most good ideas in this community do: at a resort, between friends, over the question “why doesn’t this exist yet?” We wanted apparel that said exactly what we meant without saying it out loud. Shirts, hats, and gear that let the right people read you perfectly, and everyone else read nothing at all. We couldn’t find it. So we made it. Say what you want to say, without ever having to say a word.

KC and Johanna found the lifestyle community in 2013 and never looked back. They got married, turned the passion into the profession, and built their lives inside it: running the spa and boutique at Caliente Resorts, and now helping steer Bliss Cruise. Everywhere they went, from resorts to parties to sailings, they wanted gear as unapologetic as they are. The boutique is where FREAK-ISH was born: a brand for the ones who don’t hide, don’t apologize, and don’t water themselves down for anyone.

Nick & Jen. Naughtier than they look.
Nick and Jen are the other half of the brand, and the other half of its personality. Married more than twenty years, longtime Caliente members, longtime friends of KC and Johanna, and exactly the opposite energy: low-key, private, in on every joke and advertising none of them. In 2024 they started Monogamish Apparel for people like them, with designs that pass at the grocery store and land at the pool. When the four compared notes, it was obvious: same gap, two ways of filling it. Monogamish is now part of FREAK-ISH.
You won’t find their photo here. That’s kind of the point. But they’re around. Check the events page, and odds are you’ll meet them there. Or poolside.

The Standard
A lifestyle brand. Not a novelty shirt.
You’ve seen the other version: a paper-thin blank, a print that cracks by the third wash, a joke that was only funny in the cart. That’s not this. Every FREAK-ISH piece starts with a garment we’d actually want to wear. Modern fits, fabric with real weight, embroidery and DTG printing done properly in the US. The test for every design is simple: if we wouldn’t wear it to the resort ourselves, it doesn’t make the collection. The message gets you noticed. The quality is why you keep reaching for it.

Because there’s no one way to be a freak.
Two couples, two completely different volumes, one belief: what you wear should be your call. Your vibe, your boundaries, your humor, your invitation. Some days you want the whole pool deck to know. Some days you want exactly one person across the bar to know. FREAK-ISH is built for both, by people who live both.
