How Shipping Works at FREAK-ISH

Every FREAK-ISH item is made to order. When you place an order, your garment or accessory is printed, finished, inspected, packed discreetly, and shipped specifically for you. This print-on-demand model is why our catalog is wide and our packaging is unbranded — and it's why the shipping clock has two parts:

Total order-to-door time = Production time + Shipping time

Both parts are explained in detail below.

Production Time

Standard production for printed apparel, headwear, drinkware, towels, and accessories: 2 to 5 business days from the time your order is accepted.

Production time covers printing, finishing, quality inspection, and packing. It does not include shipping in transit — that's a separate window (see "Shipping Time" below).

A few specifics:

  • Embroidered items and all-over-print (AOP) items may take an additional 1 to 2 business days due to the more complex production process. Your order confirmation will note if any item in your cart falls into one of these categories.
  • Multiple items in one order may be produced and shipped together in a single package, or — if items are made at different production facilities — split into multiple packages that arrive separately. You will receive separate tracking links for each package at no extra charge.
  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to U.S. shipping addresses only — the 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands), and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. We do not currently accept orders for delivery outside the United States. Orders placed with a non-U.S. shipping address will be declined at checkout or — if entered in error — voided and refunded before production begins.

We may expand our list of permitted shipping destinations in the future.

Shipping Time

Once your order is produced and handed to the carrier, transit times depend on destination within the United States:

APO / FPO / DPO military addresses 7 to 21 business days (USPS routing, may vary significantly)

These are estimates based on standard ground service. Transit times are not guaranteed and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, or events outside our control.

Total Order-to-Door Timeline

For most contiguous-U.S. orders, the realistic order-to-door window is 7 to 10 business days — 2 to 5 production + 3 to 7 shipping. We design our promises to underpromise and overdeliver: roughly 70% of orders arrive at the faster end of that range. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses add additional transit time.

If you need an order by a specific date (a cruise, event, anniversary, birthday), we recommend ordering at least 14 calendar days in advance to give yourself buffer for production, carrier variability, and any address verification.

Free Shipping Threshold

We offer free standard shipping on all U.S. orders of $75 or more, after discounts and before tax. The cart shows your live progress toward the threshold so you always know where you stand.

International orders and expedited shipping are not currently eligible for the free shipping threshold.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs for orders under $75 are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, destination, and service level. You will see the final shipping cost on the checkout page before you complete your order.

We use the following carriers, selected automatically based on the most reliable service for your destination:

  • USPS — typical carrier for apparel and small parcels, and the only carrier we use for APO/FPO/DPO and PO Box addresses
  • UPS and FedEx — used for larger parcels and expedited service

If a specific carrier preference is critical for your delivery, contact support@freak-ish.com before ordering and we will tell you whether we can accommodate.

Discreet Packaging

Every FREAK-ISH order ships in plain, unbranded packaging:

  • The mailer is a solid-color poly mailer or kraft box with no FREAK-ISH logo, design imagery, or product description visible on the outside.
  • The return address on the shipping label is our fulfillment center's address, not "FREAK-ISH." The sender line typically reads as our fulfillment partner's facility name.
  • The statement descriptor on your bank or card statement shows as FI - Brands, not FREAK-ISH.
  • No packing slip, marketing insert, or branded thank-you card referencing FREAK-ISH or the design is included inside the package. Order details are sent to you by email only.

Discretion is a deliberate part of how we run the business. Whether you live with roommates, have a curious mail carrier, or just prefer your personal taste stay personal — what you order is no one's business but yours.

Order Tracking

You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after checkout, and a separate shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order is handed to the carrier (typically 2 to 5 business days after order acceptance).

If you have a customer account, you can also view tracking information by signing into your account and selecting your order from the order history.

If you do not see a shipping confirmation within 7 business days of your order, please email support@freak-ish.com with your order number and we will investigate.

Address Changes and Order Modifications

Because production starts quickly, the window to change a shipping address or modify an order is short.

  • Before production begins (typically within a few hours of order acceptance): contact support@freak-ish.com immediately with your order number and the requested change. We will accommodate if production has not yet started.
  • After production begins: changes are no longer possible. The order will ship to the address on the original order.
  • After shipment: carrier-side address changes are sometimes possible through the carrier's own tracking portal, but we cannot guarantee them. Some carriers charge a fee for an in-transit address change, which is the customer's responsibility.

We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer at checkout. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange reshipment, and the customer is responsible for the cost of reshipment.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it:

  1. Check with neighbors, building managers, and household members.
  2. Look for the carrier's photo confirmation (where available) in the tracking email.
  3. Wait 24 to 48 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered slightly before actual delivery.
  4. If the package still hasn't appeared, contact support@freak-ish.com within 14 days of the marked delivery date with your order number.

We will open a carrier trace and, where appropriate, ship a replacement at no cost to you. Outside the 14-day window we may not be able to assist, as carriers typically close investigation cases after that point.

International Orders

We do not currently ship outside the United States. If you live outside the U.S. and would like to know when international shipping becomes available, sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of the homepage. We'll announce destination expansions there before adding them to the checkout.

PO Boxes, APO, FPO, and DPO Addresses

We ship to U.S. PO Boxes, APO (Army/Air Force), FPO (Fleet), and DPO (Diplomatic) addresses via USPS. Transit times to APO/FPO/DPO addresses are estimates only and may be significantly longer than the typical contiguous-U.S. window depending on routing.

Holiday Season

Production and carrier networks experience higher volume from mid-November through early January. During this period, please add 3 to 5 additional business days to standard timelines and order early for gift-giving deadlines. We publish specific "order by" cutoff dates for major U.S. holidays in our seasonal email communications and on the homepage banner during peak weeks.

Risk of Loss

Once we transfer your order to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you. We are not liable for damage in transit, but we will replace items damaged in transit if you contact us within 14 days of delivery (see our Return and Refund Policy).
