How We Make Your Order
Every item we sell is made to order. When you place an order with FREAK-ISH, your garment is printed, finished, and inspected specifically for you — it doesn't sit in a warehouse. That's how we keep our catalog wide and our packaging discreet, and it shapes how returns work.
Because each item is produced individually for the person who ordered it, we cannot resell returned merchandise. For that reason, we accept returns and refunds only in the specific situations listed below.
What We'll Make Right
We will replace any order that arrives with one of the following issues — and if a replacement isn't possible, we'll refund your original payment method:
- Manufacturing defects — print misalignment, ink smudging, peeling, stitching defects, fabric flaws
- Shipping damage — items damaged in transit
- Wrong item shipped — you received a different product than what your order confirmation lists
- Wrong size shipped — the size on the garment tag does not match the size on your order
You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to report any of the above. We chose 14 days because real defects almost always show up on the first wear or never — a short window helps us resolve issues while they're fresh and helps us keep prices honest.
What We Cannot Accept
Because every item is made specifically for the customer who ordered it, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Sizing dissatisfaction when the correct size you ordered was delivered (please review our size guide before ordering)
- Color dissatisfaction — monitors render color differently, and small print/dye variation between batches is normal
- Wear-and-tear, washing errors, or care-instruction violations — please follow the care card included with your order
- Sale, clearance, or final-sale items
- Gift cards
This policy applies to all custom-printed merchandise we sell, including apparel, headwear, drinkware, towels, totes, weekenders, koozies, and accessories.
How to Start a Return Request
- Email support@freak-ish.com within 14 days of delivery.
- Include your order number (e.g.,
#1001) and clear photos of the issue. For defects, please photograph the item flat on a neutral surface. For shipping damage, please also photograph the outer mailer. - Our team will respond within 2 business days. If your return is approved, we'll email you a pre-paid return shipping label and instructions for where to send the item.
Items sent back to us without an approved return request will not be accepted and cannot be refunded.
Return address: To be issued with your approved return. We use a managed returns address that we share at the time of approval — please do not ship returns to any address other than the one on your approved RMA email.
Refunds
Once we receive your returned item and confirm the issue, we will issue your refund to the original payment method within 10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3 to 10 business days for the refund to post to your account.
Refunds appear on your statement under the same descriptor as the original charge — FI - Brands — so the refund is just as discreet as the purchase.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund was approved and you don't see it on your statement, please email support@freak-ish.com and we'll trace it with our payment processor.
Damaged or Lost in Transit
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If the mailer or item is visibly damaged, photograph it before opening (where possible) and email support@freak-ish.com within 14 days of delivery. We will replace damaged items at no cost to you.
If tracking shows your order as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us within 14 days of the marked delivery date so we can open a carrier trace and, where appropriate, ship a replacement.
Exchanges
Because each garment is custom-printed when you order, we do not offer direct size or design exchanges. The fastest way to get a different size, color, or design is to place a new order for the item you want. If the original item qualifies for a return under the conditions above, we will refund it on the original payment method.
Where We Ship
We currently ship to U.S. addresses only — the 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories, and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. Orders placed for delivery outside the United States cannot be accepted at this time. See our Shipping Policy for full destination details.
Sale Items and Promotional Codes
Items purchased on sale, with a promotional code, or marked as final sale are eligible for return only if they arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect — the same standard that applies to full-price merchandise. Promotional codes and store credit are not refundable for cash.
